Steel Palisade Fences and Gates for General Purposes up to 2.4 m

Steel palisade fences and gates for general purposes ("GP" fences) in corrugated and angle pales for heights up to 2.4 m, with posts at 2.75 m centres. For General palisade fence, rolled steel angle pales and corrugated pales, plates, capes and connectors are made of S235JR material; circular, square and rectangular hollow sections are made from S235JRH materials.

Characteristics of corrugated pales for general steel palisade fences:

Pales shall be hot or cold formed
Pales relevant load/deflection: the maximum deflection at the middle of the span under a test load of 2.5 kN shall not exceed 8 mm.
The maximum spacing of pales centre to centre shall be:
- 155 mm for corrugated pales;
- 135 mm for angle pales.
The minimum face to view (width) shall be:
- 65 mm for corrugated pales for GP fences;
- 56 mm for angle pales.

Six shapes of corrugated palisade fence pales: round and notched, round, plain, single pointed, triple pointed and splayed, triple pointed, splayed and returned.

GPF-3: Corrugated pale top shapes.

Three shapes of general palisade fence pales cover plain, single pointed, double pointed and splayed.

GPF-4: Angle pale top shapes.
